	James A. Reed Wildlife Area [website] • One mile east of Lee's Summit on Ranson Rd., 1.5 mile south of Hwy 50 • 2.5 mile hiking/nature trail and 15 mile hiking/bridle trail • Nature center • Many bird species: buntings, orioles, warblers, tanagers, Great Blue Heron


	Lakeside Nature Center [website] • 4701 East Gregory, Kansas City, Mo., in Swope Park • Two trails at nature center • Nature center with excellent visual display and live exhibit of birds of prey
